Bag size guide

Every bag is measured empty: width across the base, height to the top edge, depth across the base. Handles and straps are measured on their own, as the drop.

Size Width What fits
Mini Up to 20 cm Phone, card holder, keys and a lipstick
Small 20–26 cm Add a compact wallet and sunglasses
Medium 26–32 cm Add a small tablet or a paperback
Large 32 cm and up Add a 13–14 inch laptop and a bottle

Sample figures for the preview — replace them with the measured sizes of your bags.

How to

Measure a bag

Bag sizes are given as width × height × depth, with the handle or strap drop on its own. Measure a bag you already carry the same way, and you'll know how a new one compares.

  1. Step 1

    Measure the width

Empty the bag and stand it on a table. Measure across the base, from one side seam to the other.

  2. Step 2

    Measure the height

From the base to the top edge of the bag, with the handles and strap lying flat, out of the way.

  3. Step 3

    Measure the depth

Across the base from front to back, where the bag is at its deepest.

  4. Step 4

    Measure the drop

Pull the handle or strap straight up and measure from its highest point to the top edge of the bag. This is how far the bag hangs from the hand or shoulder.
